Lone Oak Performance Horses is a partnership of performance horse industry veteran Benny Martinez along with Rick Taggard, cutting horse enthusiast and multi-generational ranching heritage breeder of Black Angus cattle.
The ranch is nestled in the beautiful location of Santa Maria, CA and is dedicated to breeding and raising quality prospects that excel in all of the western performance events, with an emphasis on the cutting. Home of the great broodmares such as: Awesome Autumn, Cancan Kitty, Kitty Can Dual, Miss Stylish Katz, Reyann Hickory, Shes Icing On the Cat.
We raise them to sell. Our yearlings live in beautiful Santa Maria until they are sold or go to Oswood Stallion Station in Weatherford, TX for fitting. Our two year olds are expertly trained by Matt Tune and Turner West, also located in Weatherford, TX.
